The interior concept is based on the idea of a contemporary, energetic and sophisticated fitness centre integrated within the atmosphere of a 4-star hotel in Bucharest. The space was designed to combine the dynamic character of a sports facility with the comfort and refinement associated with a premium hospitality interior.

The design seeks a balance between the industrial character of the existing space and a warm palette of materials and textures. The exposed technical ceiling, with visible services and ductwork, is enhanced by a coherent grid of linear lighting fixtures, reinforcing the contemporary character of the interior. In contrast, warm beige and sand tones, mineral-inspired surfaces and three-dimensional ceramic finishes introduce a softer, tactile quality.

The reception area acts as the focal point of the interior. Its curved counter, clad in warm-toned ceramic tiles, becomes a distinctive visual element while creating a natural transition towards the training area. The terrazzo flooring reinforces the refined hospitality character while providing the durability required in a high-traffic environment.

Within the fitness area, the hotel's visual identity is reinterpreted through a bold graphic intervention. Red and blue surfaces, combined with oversized graphic motifs, introduce energy and create strong visual landmarks throughout the space. The running track is treated as a graphic element in its own right, becoming the compositional axis of the gym and strengthening the perspective through the space.

Lighting was carefully considered as both an atmospheric and orientational element. The combination of ambient light, functional lighting and decorative accents helps define the different zones while creating a dynamic rhythm throughout the interior.

The result is a fitness environment with a strong visual identity, where hospitality design, industrial expression and the energy of sport come together in a coherent, contemporary and highly functional interior.
