The idea of the layout was to create an oasis of peace, serenity and balance right in the daily hustle and bustle of the city. The apartment is spread out spectacularly, on the entire floor of an interwar villa, benefiting, in the amphitheatre-like living room, from a large and surprising opening to the sky, which led us to make nature, with its many facets, a continuous presence and on the inside. It was desired that the furnishing would have subtle accents of Japandi style - a form of friendly minimalism, in which the functional simplicity of contemporary Scandinavian design is merged with the organic, sophisticated and mysterious "imperfection" of Japanese aesthetics, but without renouncing the elegance that it imposed villa. Key elements such as arches, glass ceiling, wood, plants, abundant natural light and subtly-vibrant shades of gold are part of the composition of this spatial personality, which give the interior an additional touch of warmth and sophistication.
The wall with the two arches - distinctive architectural structures -, located between the old house and the new intervention, serves as a bridge between the past and the present, but also, concretely, between the living area, opening onto the generous terrace, and the night area, thus creating a space of functional fluidity.
The interpenetration between interior and exterior is permanently emphasized by the glazed surfaces, by the rich presence of plants and, suggestively, by the vegetal motifs that envelop the walls (either through wallpaper or through the handprints of the decorative paint - which have become a real signature for us, illustrating once more attention to the tactile valences of the materials we propose).

Areas flooded with natural light are strategically configured to make every detail of the interior take on a harmonious glow, and together create a diaphanous and almost timeless setting, a space of relaxation and contemplation, where time seems to slow down. Natural wood, massive and graceful at the same time, in soft textures and shades, se
it is found not only in the furniture and the floor, but also in the parietal cladding and partly in the ceiling, like a "shell" protectively enveloping the interior and ensuring a continuity of the visual-tactile discourse.
