The S Apartment is a three-room penthouse located in the Tractorul neighborhood of Brașov. It boasts a usable area of 126 sqm and a large 65 sqm terrace with an impressive view.
One of the defining features of this apartment, and the element from which the design concept emerged, is its sinuous layout, where the space continuously surprises as you move through it.
We made significant changes, from replacing the doors and installing filomuro doors with self-closing hinges to concealing the air conditioning ducts. The challenge arose from the fact that the apartment lacked any climate system, so we proposed ingenious solutions to integrate this necessity without compromising the aesthetics.
In the living area, we aimed to create a multifunctional space, incorporating a sound system, an elegant dining area, and a cozy relaxation corner. The kitchen, opening from the living room, has an unconventional layout, integrating various custom specifications.
In the night area, every element was customized. We collaborated with local suppliers to create unique pieces that not only enhance the aesthetics but also serve a practical purpose. One key aspect was the use of upholstered panels, which contribute to the soundproofing of the bedrooms while adding a pleasant texture and creating a relaxing ambiance.
The bathrooms are highly personalized, each featuring its own theme and carefully selected finishes.
We opted for surprising elements with artistic value, going beyond simple paintings; here, the light fixtures serve as artistic pieces. Each room is highlighted by a designer light fixture, adding a sophisticated touch and completing the overall atmosphere of the space.
The apartment stands out for its exceptional finishes and high-quality materials. The ceramic flooring, installed in a chevron pattern with a border, adds an elegant and refined look, emphasizing the structure of the space. The living area predominantly features neutral tones, with metallic accents and a variety of textures that create a sophisticated ambiance.
The bedrooms have distinct themes, each featuring a dominant color that aligns with the style of the bathrooms, offering a pleasant and personalized contrast. Every detail was carefully chosen to create a unique and appealing space.
