Authors’ Comment

The project proposes an interior intervention that plays with two complementary aesthetic registers: one sophisticated and elegant, the other playful and expressive. The design is conceived to respond to both the functional and emotional needs of a young family, creating a balanced space with subtle scenographic accents.
The living area is designed as an open space, where the coherence of materials and the clarity of the composition define a warm and orderly atmosphere. The oak veneer bookcase, spanning the entire wall, integrates closed storage and open shelves in a controlled vertical rhythm that adds depth and texture. From this composition, a reading corner emerges, defined by a linear wall lamp and an armchair strategically placed near the natural light source.
The kitchen is finished in matte white doors, with milled fronts for a unified and discreet effect. The backsplash is replaced by a mirror on the entire length of the countertop, reflecting the garden outside and enhancing the natural light, adding a sense of depth. The central island, finished in a warm shade of blue, becomes the chromatic accent of the composition and a functional node between zones.
The master bedroom area is characterized by warm materials and refined finishes. Veneered wood, marble inlays, and ambient lighting contribute to an intimate and cohesive atmosphere. The center piece is a sculptural element with a dual function, separating the bedroom from the dressing area while serving as support for the TV unit and a vanity table. This complex piece blends textures and luminous details, organizing the space around a volume with both aesthetic and functional value.
The child’s room explores a playful and vibrant aesthetic, defined by dynamic colors and oversized graphic elements. The headboard is animated by upholstered cacti with contour lighting, adding a scenographic layer with both decorative and practical roles. The wardrobe is concealed behind swing doors treated with graphic elements, and the contrast between blue and orange stimulates sensory perception and emotional interaction with the space.
The entire project reflects an architectural approach attentive to detail and atmosphere, building a home that reveals itself gradually, offering surprises and revelatory moments even to those who are already familiar with it.
