A Home for Two. Stillness, Light, Belonging.
This project transforms a standard apartment into a calm, warm and rhythmically domestic space for a young couple at the beginning of their shared life.
The design responds to the need for clarity and order, while aiming to create a discreet emotional tone through natural materials, warm lighting, and carefully crafted details.
Alterations to the original layout were essential in redefining the way the space is inhabited – rigid separations gave way to fluid connections between living areas, and the relationship between interior and exterior was enhanced by treating the terrace as a natural extension of the domestic atmosphere.
The aesthetic language is restrained yet inviting. Mineral tones, vegetal accents, and tactile textures contribute to a serene perception of the space. The clean lines of the furniture are softened by indirect lighting, matte surfaces, and subtle graphic rhythms in the finishes. Objects serve the space rather than dominate it. Nothing is decorative for its own sake; each element contributes to a coherent composition meant to support a quiet, almost ritual-like way of living.
Without relying on visual spectacle, the project convinces through clarity, proportion, and discretion. It stands as a statement in favor of thoughtfully calibrated interiors, where function is not sacrificed for image, nor aesthetics for practicality.
A warm and living atmosphere, where everyday gestures can find their natural place
