The 78 sqm floor plan of the apartment opens generously to the living-dining area – an open space visually connected to the semi-open space of the kitchen; and in the background, the night area consisting of two bedrooms and a bathroom.

We focused on defining the functionality of the space and hiding small imperfections of the original partition through an intelligent composition of custom furniture.
The custom furniture „dresses up” and hides the irregular corners of the partition walls – thus the semi-open kitchen is subtly glimpsed through the open niche in the continuous front of the storage furniture. The storage furniture thus becomes a portal that functionally and aesthetically connects the kitchen with the dining and living area.

The long entrance hall wall, with a strong presence in the living area, was transformed into an "exhibition" accent wall by choosing a wallpaper with a strong decorative pattern. The full-height mirror at the end of the hall gives continuity to the space, extending and mirroring the decorative mural.

Lighting fixtures play a significant role in defining and outlining spaces:
- the large circular ceiling light marks the center of the lounge area
- the L-shaped track light emphasizes the direction of the space; moreover, the three different types of spotlights attached to the track are functionally chosen: linear spotlights for general lighting, directional cylindrical spotlights for highlighting the decorative wall and suspended spotlights marking the dining table.

The wall decoration gives personality to the space:
- (living) a decorative pattern wallpaper, like a work of art in a museum;
- (master bedroom) the concrete wallpaper creates a sober but serene atmosphere;
- (guest bedroom) the vegetal wallpaper transposes you to the tranquility of nature.

The general chromatic line of custom furniture, in warm natural wood tones and light grays, becomes a soft background for carefully chosen pieces of furniture in fluid shapes and strong colors (green, black).
