Flat Academiei is a contemporary interior design project located in the heart of Bucharest, where the cosmopolitan character of the city is reinterpreted through a balanced mix of modern lines, classical accents, and glamorous details. The concept aims to create a sophisticated and expressive interior that remains comfortable and natural for everyday living.

The apartment’s central location inspired an interior with a strong sense of identity, where contemporary elements meet classical references reinterpreted through a current design language. Deep wood tones, marble, sophisticated textiles, metallic details, and decorative lighting create an elegant atmosphere with a subtle theatrical quality. Glamour is present throughout the apartment, yet carefully controlled through proportion, texture, and a considered selection of elements, allowing the spaces to remain coherent and livable.

The living room is conceived as the apartment’s main representative space. A statement sofa, defined by fluid, sculptural forms, becomes the focal point of the composition, while furniture and decorative elements create a sophisticated spatial setting around it. In the dining area, organic shapes and elegant accents continue the visual language while making efficient use of the available space.

Each room was designed to have its own personality and individual scenography. The two bedrooms differ in atmosphere, materials, and decorative accents, while maintaining the same stylistic references that connect them to the rest of the apartment. The spaces are therefore not identical, but complementary: each tells its own story, while together they form a coherent overall experience.

The result is a contemporary interior enriched by classical accents, glamorous and sophisticated, where the diversity of individual spaces is balanced by a shared identity. Flat Academiei offers a personal interpretation of urban luxury, shaped by its central Bucharest setting and the demands of contemporary living.
