The apartment was taken over fully finished from the developer, with the flooring, joinery, bathrooms and part of the installations already defined. The project starts from a simple question: how can a distinct identity be built over an existing base, without unnecessary interventions on what was already executed?
The answer is a set of added layers: custom furniture, color, wallpaper, lighting and integrated details, which connect the rooms functionally and visually.
In the day zone, made-to-measure furniture organizes the space. Floor-to-ceiling volumes integrate storage, the bookshelf, the TV and the kitchen into one continuous composition, where neutral surfaces alternate with warm timber. The tall bookshelf, with a grid of niches in varied proportions, marks the living area and adds verticality to an open space. The island mediates between the kitchen and the dining area. The modular sofa, in moss green, is the main color accent and carries the botanic register through the rest of the apartment. The circular light fixture, the low tables with organic shapes and the plants complete a calm, domestic atmosphere.
The sleeping areas are more tactile and personal, and the wallpaper sets the two bedrooms apart. In the master bedroom, a softly faded forest in shades of grey rises above a timber headboard with a rounded corner, which gathers the socket, the sconce and the bedside table into a single plane. In the child's room, an oversized botanic print in powder pink, ochre and violet becomes the backdrop for an upholstered headboard with a rounded profile. The dotted textile, the bedside table with its brass detail and the small lamp give the room its intimate scale. The soft forms of the furniture temper the orthogonal lines of the existing space.
The custom furniture also resolves the technical elements. Air-conditioning units and radiators are enclosed in timber volumes and perforated metal screens, so the infrastructure remains functional without fragmenting the rooms visually.
The palette is built from warm timber, off-whites and beiges, complemented by botanic green and powdery tones. The result is a calm, bright interior whose character comes from the precision of the added elements and the continuity between furniture, finishes and detail.
