The project explores the idea of “home” as a space shaped by two people, evolving over time through shared choices, everyday rituals, and objects of personal significance. The design translates this intimate dimension into a warm, balanced interior, where each element contributes to a sense of belonging.
The interior reinterprets the elegance of Parisian homes through a contemporary language, tailored to the couple’s way of life. Decorative mouldings and the rhythm of the walls establish a classical backdrop, complemented by sculptural furniture, bespoke pieces, and carefully selected objects. The relationship between these elements gives the home a personal character, with French influences expressed through proportions, details, and compositional balance.
A neutral palette of warm whites and natural tones highlights the oak, mineral surfaces, and metallic accents. Textures bring depth and warmth, while details create subtle connections between rooms. Metallic accents introduce delicate reflections and contrast with matte surfaces, complementing the relationship between the warmth of wood and the mineral character of the finishes. Light reveals the materials and decorative mouldings, contributing to the interior’s calm atmosphere.
The kitchen plays a central role in the organisation of the home. Designed in continuity with the living area, it becomes a gathering place and an integral part of the home’s social life. Materials and furniture details echoed throughout the apartment create a cohesive interior while preserving the character of each area.
Photographs, artworks, lighting fixtures, and objects collected over time give the home its own identity. Some are arranged in carefully considered compositions, while others find their place naturally through everyday life. Their presence connects the interior architecture with the memories, preferences, and experiences of its inhabitants.
The result is an interior where elegance meets the natural ease of everyday living. A space open to change, continuing to evolve with the story of the two who inhabit it, where the feeling of ‘home’ is built day by day.
