Authors’ Comment
The proposed interventions develop under the concept of "eco - museum" a program that identifies a set of values regarding the collective memory of the local community. The proposal pursues realizing a system of dynamic outdoor spaces, that involve the user in various activities: observation, learning and experiencing the nature - human - well-being relationship.
Main objectives:
- Capturing and transporting the "Primus" mineral spring - cleaning, landscape designing the area around it and transporting the water towards the Primus pavillion; Redesigning the green areas in the town's central park;
- The equipment of the Forest/ Park with leisure facilities: resting spaces at the crossing of existent paths with composite wood flooring, public seating and urban furniture made of eco - friendly materials that can be used as playground by children or meditation/ contemplation spots for grown - ups.
- Bike-lanes;
- Refurbishing the cultural activities area (amphiteatre) and the sports fields;
- Upgrading the public utility infrastructure in the area surrounding the mineral springs;
- Creating observation points around Detunata Cormaia cascade - that consist of platforms, resting places;
