The three ages tower
Authors’ Comment
We propose removing the existing interior structures of BA. Brutally added, it does not respect the logical space of a historic tower, it does not take into account the position of the gaps in the façade and it incorporates excessively both masonry structures. Disassemble the first metal pyramid that is in an advanced degradation state and the full parapet on which it is seated and then cut all the BA planes from the top down, keeping only the perimeter beams - they can become anchoring support for the structure Inside, we propose the dismantling of both masonry registers and the preservation of the constructive materiality of all the identified stages. To get a more neutral cat propitious to the exhibition space. we decided to paint all the existing one in one color (gray). If cracks are found in the masonry structure, less invasive methods of consolidation will be used.
