Authors’ Comment

The design concept aimed at creating a space to accommodate the wide range of products offered by Techo. For the location in ‘The Bridge’ office building the beneficiary granted us total freedom, the only condition being that the furniture is at the core of the design. As a result, we have outlined the idea of ‘Show and Tell’, the large area of exhibition being regarded as the main element in the space. One of the advantages was the considerable height of the showroom, which allowed the creation of a withdrawn floor, that accommodates the administrative functions. The idea of creating a continuous space is interrupted by the volume of the meeting room, a container that seems to float in the air.
