Authors’ Comment
In 2010 we where invited to see a site on which an older client of ours has bought near Bran city, Brasov. Located near the forest on a domain of 4700 mp the house offers generous windows making the dining room the main area of the house. This is found at the ground floor along with the kitchen and the living room. The rooms at the ground floor open with two large terraces. One of them goes over the landscaped slope like a mountain road and the second, covered is flanked by a mountain rock wall. The night area is located at the first floor and has three bedrooms, with private bathrooms. In the attic we did a spa area, bathtub with hydromassage and emotional shower. The library, lecture area and secondary living room are also here.
The materials used have an antique touch, but are contemporary. The wood and stone processed differently are the main materials used. The furniture are entirely drawn by One Design and executed in a furniture factory. Light also plays an important role in the design using soffits in certain places.
