Authors’ Comment
The project involved the renovation of an existing office space in Floreasca Business Park building, 169 A Calea Floreasca, for the headquarters of Lenovo Bucharest Branch.
The client's main requirement was to create an innovative and flexible office space for 160 people, including "open-space" areas, meeting-rooms, break and relaxation spaces, strongly marking the visual identity of the company, by reusing existing elements wherever possible.
The existing modular glass partitions have been reused by dismantling and reassembling in other configurations in order to fit the space requirements of the client. The new elements have been purchased from the same producer Maars - Styline.
On the existing raised floor Milliken carpet tiles have been mounted in the office space and Tarkett PVC tiles in the cafeteria.
The existing mineral grid ceiling AMF Thermotex have been kept by replacing the deteriorated tiles and by repairing the wall joints.
Corporate Office Solutions was the contractor for all executing works and provided the furniture.
